Schedule of online lectures at BASE

 Due to recent situation of new coronavirus infections, the Graduate School of Bio-Applications and Systems Engineering (BASE) will offer online lectures until May 31 on the following schedule.

[Preparation period] April 6 -

(1) Especially for new students, confirm your student ID card, your email address and account ID for the network system of TUAT. Read a guide for network system and Google Classroom. If you have any questions, please contact to your supervisor.
(2) We are completing a timetable of online lectures with Google Classroom codes. Please access to Google Classroom and enter the class code " ei35a6m " to check the timetable. You can access online lectures of BASE using the class code in the timetable, which will be updated as needed and will be completed until May 1st.
(3) Current students should follow the process (2) above.
(4) We ask for your cooperation in setting up a network environment at home or elsewhere.

[Trial Period] Monday, April 20 - Friday, May 8

(1) It is a period for preparation and trial of online lectures for professors, and for testing internet connections for students. However, please be sure to check the web bulletin board for each class, which maybe started early during this period.

[Online lectures] Monday, May 11-,

(1) In the fiscal year 2020, total lecture time will be flexible, but it is required to keep 45 hours of study time (including prep and review).
(2) Online class will be open until the extended period at the end of the semester, and maybe open on weekend and holidays.
(3) To access online lectures, use the class code on the online timetable (currently under construction) as described above. Enter Google Classroom using your e-mail address, TUAT-ID@st.go.jskrtf.com. Also, please check the web bulletin board and syllabus if necessary. There are three format types: live video, recorded video, and presentation file with audio, and it depends on each class.
(4) Chat function in Google Classroom will be used in online lectures to ask questions or take short exams to measure the level of understanding.
(5) Professors will be available for questions during online lectures, so do not hesitate to ask questions using Google Classroom, etc.
(6) If the situation does not reach "Phase 5" after June 1, the online lectures maybe extended.

[Registration period] Monday, June 1 -

Even if you have signed up online lectures in Google Classroom, you need register for the classes through the Student Information System (SPICA).
